The Sons of Korah consider the futility of wealth and of worldliness. The Lord, in contrast, delivers His faithful people from death.

In his old age, Samuel addresses the people, urging them to obey the Lord. Samuel tells the people that their request for a king was wicked and the people acknowledge it.
