Today’s Bible Reading

Arrogantly and foolishly, David imposes a census on Israel and Judah. As punishment for this sinful action, the Lord sends a pestilence on the land. David builds an altar and offers a sacrifice to the Lord, and the Lord ends the plague.

We praise the Lord for His wonderful creation. We praise the Lord for making man the crown of His creation. We praise the Lord for sending His Son as man to redeem us and to rule over us for our eternal benefit.
