34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? 36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? 37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. 38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. 40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? 41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.(KJV)

1. ‘Twas on that dark, that doleful night
When powers of earth and hell arose
Against the Son of God’s delight
And friends betrayed Him to His foes.
2. Before the mournful scene began,
He took the bread and blessed and brake.
What love through all His actions ran!
What wondrous words of grace He spake!
3. “This Is My body, broke for sin;
Receive and eat the living food”;
Then took the cup and blessed the wine:
“‘Tis the new covenant in My blood.”
4. “Do this,” He said, “till time shall end,
In memory of your dying Friend.
Meet at My table and record
The love of your departed Lord.”
5. Jesus, Thy feast we celebrate;
We show Thy death, we sing Thy name,
Till Thou return and we shall eat
The marriage supper of the Lamb.
