Today’s Bible Reading

The Lord will destroy Damascus, but will preserve a remnant of faithful people.

Jesus promises to send the Holy Spirit to His disciples. Jesus gives to His disciples true and lasting peace. Faithfulness to the Lord consists in keeping His Word.

The Lord moves the people to believe the preaching of Jeremiah and spares his life.
