Today’s Bible Reading

Ruth lives with Naomi and supports herself and her mother-in-law by gleaning grain in the field of Boaz. Boaz notices Ruth and helps her.

Boaz notices Ruth and helps her.

The writer compares Jesus to Melchizedek, to whom Abraham gave a tithe. Jesus is a priest after the order of Melchizedek, not of Levi.
