Today’s Bible Reading

The people of Israel are to provide generously for one another. At the end of every seventh year, all debts are to be forgiven.

Peter reminds his readers that Christ will return in judgment unexpectedly even as the flood came unexpectedly. Peter closes his letter with warning and encouragement.
