Today’s Bible Reading

The Lord defines the boundaries of the land that Israel is to occupy. The Lord selects tribal chiefs who are to divide the land among the tribes of Israel.

The Lord selects tribal chiefs who are to divide the land among the tribes of Israel.

On the night of His betrayal, Jesus washes the feet of His disciples. Jesus tells the disciples that one of them, Judas, will betray Him. Jesus commands the disciples to love one another as He has loved them. Jesus tells Peter that Peter will deny Him three times.

We have seen through these last several chapters of Jeremiah how the Lord combines His promise to return Israel and Judah to their land with His promise to send the Messiah, who will accomplish salvation for the world.
