Today’s Bible Reading

A Judean travels to Moab where his two sons take Moabite wives, Orpah and Ruth. The man and his two sons die. Orpah returns to her people, but Ruth relocates to Bethlehem with her mother-in-law, Naomi.

All people face impending death. Solomon advises us to eat, to drink, and to work, enjoying life on earth while we have it. Wisdom is greater than might. Wisdom is greater than folly.
