Today’s Bible Reading

Jehu kills the descendants of Ahab. Jehu kills the prophets of Baal, ending the worship of Baal in Israel. Worship of other false gods, however, continues.

When we feel overwhelmed by the evil schemes of our enemies, physical or spiritual, we join Asaph in his invocation of our faithful Lord, Who answers prayer.
