Today’s Bible Reading

Having spent seven years building the Temple of the Lord, Solomon spends thirteen years building a house for himself. The inspired author lists the structural features of the Temple and its magnificent furnishings.

The theme of restoration again returns to the prophet’s lips. We realize that spiritual restoration as well as physical was on the Lord’s mind (v. 22).
