Today’s Bible Reading

The sons of Korah lament a national calamity or military defeat of some kind. Though God has been faithful to them in the past, they wonder why He now has allowed them to suffer defeat.

When the people acknowledged their sin, Samuel said, “Do not be afraid.” Neither do we have to be afraid when we acknowledge ours. Our Savior has covered it.

When he died, Jacob wanted his body returned to Canaan, the Promised Land. At the resurrection, our bodies will enter a Promised Land too!
