Today’s Bible Reading

In this love song, the sons of Korah celebrate the marriage of a king and his bride. We see this psalm fulfilled in the reign of God, our King, and in the eternal kingdom that Christ has established. We, the church, are His holy bride.

Solomon’s heart was not fully devoted to the LORD, but the LORD would still honor the promise He had made, in spite of the king’s unfaithfulness.
