Today’s Bible Reading

The Lord commands Moses to take vengeance on a group of Midianites who have seduced Israel to idolatry in the incident of Peor (Numbers 25). The Israelite army destroys and plunders the Midianites.

Jesus gave many convincing proofs that He had risen from the dead, preparing His disciples to preach of His resurrection after He had ascended into heaven.
