Today’s Bible Reading

The Lord commands Moses to take vengeance on a group of Midianites who have seduced Israel to idolatry in the incident of Peor (Numbers 25). The Israelite army destroys and plunders the Midianites.

In this heartwarming story, David reaches out in love as he still remembers Saul and Jonathan. May we continue to show love from generation to generation too, even as our Savior has.

Daniel praises God as One who reveals mysteries. We’re reminded of the greatest mystery of all that He has revealed to us: the gospel of sins forgiven in Christ.
