Today’s Bible Reading

The Lord commands Moses to take vengeance on a group of Midianites who have seduced Israel to idolatry in the incident of Peor (Numbers 25). The Israelite army destroys and plunders the Midianites.

When the Lord’s enemies are defeated the Lord still grieves because He would rather that they turn from their evil ways and repent.
