Today’s Bible Reading

Righteousness shows itself in truthfulness, in honest work, in reverence for the Word of God, and in caring for the physical and spiritual needs of one’s family.

Israel burned with the heat of wickedness against God, but they were spiritually blind and too simple-minded to see their impending destruction. When they cried out, it was not to the One who could help.
