Today’s Bible Reading

The people of Reuben and the people of Gad, who have a large number of livestock, request permission to settle east of the Jordan in the land of Gilead, which is ideal for livestock.

Zephaniah warned of the coming destruction of Jerusalem some 40 to 50 years before it happened. For us, we might be reminded of the judgment coming at the Last Day.
