Today’s Bible Reading

The Lord will destroy Damascus, but will preserve a remnant of faithful people.

Luke records what Isaiah had already prophesied concerning Jesus’ burial: “For the transgression of my people he was stricken. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death” (Isaiah 53:8-9).
