David insisted on giving to the Lord from his own wealth rather than offering someone else’s donation on his behalf. Doesn’t that just seem like the way an offering to the Lord should be?

Doesn’t that just seem like the way an offering to the Lord should be?

David wisely allowed the Lord to manage the consequences of his sin, thus resting his hope on the Lord’s mercy— a good place to rest our hope too.
