Mary remembered her brother’s resurrection and no amount of expensive oil could repay the Lord for that gift. But Mary wasn’t repaying it, she was joyfully giving thanks to the Lord of life.

There was still hope for sinful Judah. In the end, there would be some (a remnant) who trusted the Lord to forgive them and save them. He would. He saves us in the end too!
