The disciples still had a lot of spiritual maturing to do but the Spirit would be with them and they would grow in their faith.

The Son of God loved His disciples by forgiving their sins. Even Peter who had disowned Jesus was forgiven and sent out to shepherd Christ’s people. The risen Lord forgives!
