Jesus paid the full cost of our salvation. Our cost as His disciples is to let go of our love for the things of the world. May the Savior’s love make us glad to pay that paltry price.

Our sinful nature always wants to put ourselves before others. Jesus put others before Himself, especially when He went to the cross to save us. Give us grace, Jesus, to put others before ourselves.
