The disciples are up to their old tricks, arguing over who is the greatest. Greatness in God’s kingdom is a heart willing to serve others in love. Lord, forgive our desire to be served, and help us follow your example of greatness.

“Is” means “is”! Thank God for a fellowship which confesses the truth of the Real Presence! How blessed we are to receive Jesus’ true body and blood, given and shed for the forgiveness of sins.
