Solomon describes the physical deterioration that we experience as we age, encouraging us to know the Lord while we are young. “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”

All people face impending death. Solomon advises us to eat, to drink, and to work, enjoying life on earth while we have it. Wisdom is greater than might. Wisdom is greater than folly.
