Some consider the resurrection of Jesus an impossibility, but for us is the foundation of our faith and the basis of all of our teaching.

David insisted on giving to the Lord from his own wealth rather than offering someone else’s donation on his behalf. Doesn’t that just seem like the way an offering to the Lord should be?

It was the Lord who gave David his victories, using them to accomplish His purposes. David knew too that the victories were not his, but the Lord’s. Isn’t it the same with our victories too?

The jailer was “filled with joy” that he and his family had come to faith in Christ. That’s what the gospel does! It gives us joy!

How could David say God “delighted” in him? The same way we can: on account of Jesus Christ and His rescue of us from our sins.
