When Abram was 86 years old he and Sarai thought they should “help” God’s promise along by having a child through Sarai’s maid. Their weakness of faith only caused trouble.

Abram was great, but the king and priest Melchizedek was greater than he. Melchizedek in turn reminds us of Jesus, the greatest King and Priest.
