Although he knows trouble is coming, Habakkuk is not afraid but rather looks to the Lord for strength and rejoices in the God of his salvation.

Nobody had ever heard of anyone miraculously healing the blind, but it was a distinguishing mark of the true Messiah (see Isaiah 61:1-2).
